There are two types of wasps that I'd like to touch on that seemed to be extremely prevalent throughout the Tampa Bay area. They are the paper wasp and mud Dauber.
If you've ever been out in the yard, rummaging around through your landscaping, and have found yourself in the middle of a savage attack from wasps it's more than likely the paper wasp nest that you come in contact with. Paper wasps are very aggressive and protective of the nest. Paper wasps tend to have a larger full body.
On the other hand, mud daubers tend to have a slimmer body, and seem more docile. Mud daubers tend to build their nests high up on walls, and along soffits. Their nests are tubular in nature, and built out of mud that resembles black plaster. Mud daubers are primarily spider hunters. They tend to like widow spiders and can pack as many as two dozen spiders in one nests tube as
food for developing larva. Wasps can be quite a nuisance to people, from both personal safety aspect and property damage. The bug slayer mosquito control system will kill and repel both paper wasps and mud daubers.
The bug slayer system is an auto spray insect management system. The system is installed on private property and is geared toward the elimination of mosquitoes, no see-um, and other flying
biting pests as well as he aquatic midge. The bug slayer, falls under the classification of mosquito misting systems the system has three basic components:
- The reservoir tank which contains the insecticide product to be metered out through the system.
- The pump, motor and timer which control the application of the insecticide, both on a manual basis with a remote control or on automatic timed spray.
- The network of strategically placed misting nozzles throughout the yard area, taking into consideration harborage and breeding areas of paper wasps and mud daubers.
The concept is a simple one, to preemptively ambush, the unsuspecting target past, before they build nests all over your property. If you are tired of not being able to go out and enjoy what you worked hard to obtain, you need a bug slayer system. Call bug slayer today for a free estimate, you'll be glad you did.
